Posted by Train Dude on Mon Jul 16 00:06:02 2012 Who?"A federal grand jury sitting in New Haven has returned a three count indictment atainst the former finance director for the 5th District Congressional campaign of Chris Donovan. 33-year-old Robert Braddock had previously been arrested in charges he conspired to hide the source of campaign contributions. The three counts in the indictment are: conspiring to conceal federal campaign contributions, accepting federal campaign contributions made in the name of others, and causing false reports to be filed with the Federal Election Commission." There are also indications that the contributions were an incentive to block a new tax on "Roll Your Own" tobacco shops. Link to Article I believe that Chris Donovan is a democrat BTW |
