Posted by JayZeeBMT on Wed Jun 20 20:19:20 2012 Bill Lee, the chief of police in Sanford, Florida at the time admitted killer George Zimmerman shot 17-year-old Trayvon Martin to death, has been fired, following a meeting with the city manager. Lee had submitted his resignation back in April, but it was declined, and he was placed on "administrative leave".Richard Myers was hired from an outside agency, as interim police chief after Lee stepped down. |
