It revealed something about his personality. He went to one of the two big cheesesteak joints in South Philly and asked for brie or some other yuppie cheese. If you've been there you'd know you have your chocie of Cheezwhiz, Cheezwhiz or, if you slip the guy a few bucks, Cheezwhiz. Then he compounded the appearance of the guy who hadn't done much urban campaigning by refusing any of the press to take any pictures of him eating. Hadn't a child of the '60s like Kerry ever heard the Dylan line about the politician: "he's eatin' bagels, he's eatin' pizza, he's eatin' chitlins." Heh. I could just picture Kerry being handled a plate of chitterlings. I would have whispered to him: "It's OK, it's like Ris de veau, but fried." LOL! |

Said scandal originated in the local Philly media, not the Bush campaign or it's operatives. We also remember when the MSM lied about Bush not knowing what a supermarket scanner was in 1992, before FOX News and the internet were around to correct the record. |
