I can tell by seeing 4 Beatles albums in the top 10 that this isn't a good list. It's not that I hate the Beatles but they don't warrant that much honor.Curiously missing: ![]() your pal, Fred |

Sorry, but I'm a mega-purist when it comes to music like that . . . has to be zero "guitar synths". You wanna play keyboards in that kind of music? Go get a Hammond organ and switch the Leslie for an overdriven Marshall. |

Me personally, my favorite in that it had the most songs that I liked was Powerslave. But Piece of Mind has a special place in my heart because it contained probably the finest hevay metal song ever recorded "The Flight of Icarus". :) Also, Piece of Mind is the only Maiden album I own on vinyl. Everything else on cassette, and there was a CD I bought in 2000 (when Bruce rejoined the group), but I moved the next year and haven't seen it since :( Hopefully, it's packed in a box in storage somewhere. I never even opened it! |

Well, Roy Wood didn't stay in ELO for too long before they became Jeff Lynne's copy of Sergeant-Pepper-era Beatles . . . he moved on to form another band called Wizzard, who recorded the second-most-annoying Christmas tune ever . . . |
