Activists such as these just water down the real cause, as people get sick and tired of the nonsense.There's enough real incidence that they don't need to manufacture them, as the activists love to do...manufacture stories like this, or blow a story completely out of proportion to try and promote permanent victim status they so much want. And stories like this are much like the crrying wolf parable. The more they do this, the more they water down real stories of such, and make people less and less caring when a real incidence happens, as the whole thing has been watered down. |

This is why it's so "dangerous" to play the "gay card", as it just makes people go "oh please" more, and when there is really a case, people will also just go "oh please", as the whole thing was watered down.It appears that these two winners are just pains in the butts, and people around them dislike them because of that, probably not because they are "gay". But they can play the card, and it just makes gay people look even worse. They are hurting the cause not helping. |

Problem is, its come to the point where you can't criticize anyone in a "victim status" group. These permanent victim status groups have been created, and unfortunately, if they do something that deserves criticism (such as not picking up their dog's crap), the reason you are "attacking" them is because they "are gay", or "minority", or whatever "victim status" group they are. It "couldn't possibly" be because you don't like dog crap on the sidewalk or in the gutter. They'll use their "victim status" card.The problem is, every time the race card, or the gay card, or name a card is used, it severely waters down the REAL incidents of racism, bigotry, etc, as people begin to resent the card constantly being used, and all it does is hurt these groups even more, as people become MORE intolerant, not less intolerant when the card is over used. |
