The issue is that many don't consider gay marriage a human rights issue. It's quite different than inter racial normal marriage for instance. Just because a group tries to make an issue appear to be a human rights issue doesn't mean it is. |

In 1976 I traded in my 6 Cylinger 3 speed 1970 Gremlin For my 76 Ford Elite with a Windsor V-8Ironic that it was the Gremlin that had the Starsky & Hutch paint job. |

In June 1977, I started what I thought would be a summer job at the USC Bookstore (I finally left the "summer" job 21 years later!), and they had a new 1977 Chevy Van 10. I bet that the Deuce was longer than it was!1977 was a transition year for the Chevy (and GMC Van Dura). Still had the old front grill, and the license plate (usually) mounted in the left rear door, but they had the new Chevy Van/Van Dura graphics on the front fenders and a CHEVROLET in large block letters above the license plate on the back. For the 1978 model year, they introduced a new grill and moved the license plate to the mid rear bumper. |
