With Newt Gingrich getting ready to pull out of the race and Santorum gone, the consolidation in the Republican ranks is starting to show. Florida, is one of 4 key states (Ohio, Virginia and South Carolina being the others) Virginia is now showing strong gains for Romney as well.

Latest Rasmussen Poll!

I guess that means that you can't or don't wish to comment on the poll. Go have a doughnut - news may get worse for you from now on.

I don't know about that but given the senior population in Florida and that senior are finally seeing what obamacare means for them, Florida may very will climb onto the Republican side.

It would be amazing to see Romney win Florida but not the election. They say how Florida goes goes the election. If Romney pulls off Florida he wins it all.

Live by the polls, die by the polls.

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday shows President Obama earning 47% of the vote, while likely Republican nominee Mitt Romney picks up support from 45%.

Lots of opinions about which are the and how many swing states. One thing is sure, the Supreme Court overturning obamacare may actually help the doofus stay in office. Much like Jimmy Earl didn't see it coming, obama doesn't see the huge wave building behind him. Then again maybe he does.

It's 2.2% growth and 50% approval:

Polls are meaningless this early on. That was your response when faced with results you didn't like.

With that post you set the official OTChat record for using the term "Republican" or "Republicans" or "republican" or "republicans" in any continuous 24 hour period. You have used it 23 times so far. If you use it eight more times prior to 290400Z APR12 then you will have also set the official record for a calendar day. If you choose to go after that record you need to do so in the normal course of attacking others and not just repeat it eight times in one post just to set the record.

Thanks! I certainly hope that this commendation will turn up in my permanent folder as part of the record of my service to the community. I'm still short of the mission goal of tying the record for the use of "librul" in the alternate universe and will, as always, continue to do my best to meet the goal by the deadline prescribed. Semper foo! :)

Sure, Mr Polls-don't-matter-now.

Ignoring that Rasmussen is the only poll to show Romney ahead in Florida, Karl Rove already showed that Florida doesn't matter.

Once again it mostly comes down to Ohio. If Obama wins Ohio, game over. If he doesn't, some new trend has to come into play, like VA or FL becoming more Democratic (relative to other states) than it ever was before, or else it's game over in the other direction.
