Newark Mayor Corey Booker Saves Woman From Fire |
|
Posted by Jersey Mike on Fri Apr 13 15:39:32 2012 Not content with simply chasing down robbery suspects on foot Newark Mayor Corey Booker decided to raise the bar a few more notches by rushing into a burning burning and personally pulling a woman out of the fire.http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-17700783 I hope he decides to run for Governor in 2014. The last thing Chris Christie rushed into was a box of Mallomars. |

He would get destroyed if he ran for governor. He's a product of the Newark Dem machine. That's good for.....Newark. He's already secured re-election handily. |

I thought Booker and Christie were close -- at least as close as Republican and Democratic politicians get.Even if that is not correct, I can't see Booker taking on Christie. If you believe that you are a rising political star you don't take on cult figures. |

Don’t forget that Christie’s election was not a slam dunk. He was only elected because Tom Kean put up Chris Daggett to split the vote.Christie is going to crash and burn. He is not addressing the structural problems that New Jersey faces, such as having 600+ school districts with a huge administrative overhead for no real gain. He is refusing to invest in the future and transferring capital funds to operating funds. Booker should wait. His time is not yet. He can afford to: he’s 42. He can wait to let Christie fail, then pick up the pieces later. Or he could try for the Senate. Lautenberg can’t last much longer. The man has lots of possibilities. And he is young enough that he can bide his time. I wouldn’t rule out a future President Booker. |

It's amusing this guy should run for governor because apparently his qualifications is being a routine cop or firefighter, but the left hates cops with a passion. Hence they would never vote for one of these right wing gun toting fellows.I wonder whose kidneys are gonna fail on this one. |

I didn't see where it disagreed.I was reading about the Philadelphia Machine last night. Next mayor 4 years from now looks interesting. Too bad he was selected 30 years ago by the last mayor. I couldn't imagine living in such a hopeless place. |
