Why hut the people who happen to work for the gov't? They're stuck in the stone age with technology as it is.Cancel all of Moocheles private vacations and have the millionaires pay for O'bama's fundraiser trips and we'll save twice that in itself. |

But we also need to ramp up taxes on the anti-productive rich. Supply side economics is DEAD and the Republicans would never support any military cuts anyway. |

There is a widely-held (correctly, in my opinion) that the tax code is skewed in favor of the rich. And I’m not the only one who has this view: otherwise why would the Alternative Minimum Tax exist? There are a lot of loopholes for those with money to pay the tax accountants and the lobbyists. A lot of them were established with a real, benefit-the-country goal, but have since fallen by the wayside to become nothing more than a tax avoidance measure. Unfortunately many incentives to viable economic activity have been subverted into tax avoidance schemes by accountants. Would that the Right mandated the same level of disclosure—“This deduction, while technically legal, is completely against the spirit of the applicable regulation”—that they are trying to apply to abortions. |

The AMT is the Buffet Rule. They're talking about a second buffet rule for an election, as it's unpassable. And yes, the code is skewed towards the rich. Look at all the credits this year. Alternative fuels. Hybrid cars. And other things that only 1%er libs can afford. Meanwhile things like student loan interest and whatever else has small caps, and the 1%er libs want to take away the mortgage deduction. As far as "There is a widely-held (correctly, in my opinion) that the tax code is skewed in favor of the rich. And I’m not the only one who has this view:" Well, that's how dictators get fear out of people. Views don't equal reality evidence. I hear a lot from 1%er leftists that there's no such thing as islamic terrorism, yet a few hundred or over a thousand has been killed in the past 30 days. |

Don't bother arguing with a Nazi who takes the Palestinian lie (the Jews have no claim to the land of Israel) as truth. |
