Posted by orange blossom special on Fri Mar 30 07:53:08 2012 The parents of two British students murdered in Florida have criticised President Barack Obama for his lack of compassion over their son’s deaths.His failure to respond to three letters sent to the White House was because there was no “political value” and not worthy of a few minutes of his time. They spoke out as teenager Shawn Tyson began a life sentence after being found guilty of the murder of James Cooper and James Kouzaris last April. The 17 year old, who shot the men as they begged for their lives, will die in prison. Later speaking after Tyson was jailed Davies and Hallett lashed out at Mr Obama saying the deaths of their friends was “not worthy of ten minutes of his time.” Davies said:”We would like to publicly express our dissatisfaction at the lack of any public or private message of support or condolence from any American governing body or indeed, President Obama himself. “Mr Kouzaris has written to President Obama on three separate occasions and is yet to even receive the courtesy of a reply. “It would perhaps appear that Mr Obama sees no political value in facilitating such a request or that the lives of two British tourists are not worthy of ten minutes of his time.” The rebuke follows Mr Obama’s personal intervention into the shooting in Florida of a young black teenager by a white-Hispanic neighbourhood [community organiser]. Do you ever get dizzy?Your spin doesn't mention the State Dept. which is the appropriate entity for issues involving foreigners. The guilty party is in prison. Justice has been served. The President can't comment on every murder in America. Handling Florida alone would be a full time job. He has enough to do, yunno. |

What does he do that's enough anyway? All I see is one meeting at noon when he awakens and golf. Do you have some unofficial schedule that no one else sees? Or do you use the oujia board? |

What racist attack? What I said, in effect, is that there's too many murders there. That could do with the availability of guns,along with laws supporting their use and an absolute absence of responsibility WRT the actions of gun owners. That runs across racial and economic lines.The President does plenty. Get over yourself. He isn't on a perpetual vacation like the last one was. |

How is there too many murders? He once represented the past and current murder capital district of the US. They get about a half a dozen wounded per day.To put it in perspective, when I lived up north, I counted 3x as many shootings as there have been people found with bullet wounds, so we don't know how many shootings that miss completely. And Dear Leader had plenty of time to address those! How are you comparing the top tourist destination of the United States with the hellhole district of Chicago? I know the man was inexperienced, but how are you going to forget when he was a senator? Why does Dear Leader find the time to have summits and make comments over a mistaken B&E in Cambridge with a Black History teacher and make it into a weeklong thing and comment on the cops actions? Is that another special random case? The president isn't on vacation? The 1st lady just landed on her weekly one with private jet. Are we talking about the same president whose broken records on vacations now, hollywoodgate parties, more golf rounds than all past presidents combined in one half a term, basketball games, weekly parties.... and a perpetually empty schedule. I'll ask again bingbong. Do you have a secret copy of his schedule that no one else has to contradict the office schedule, or do you use a oujia board for this claim? Or is this more of your wishful fiction? |
