As I like to say, I use porn so I won't have children. :-)

Regardless, as a porn monger, I'd have to accept that possibility, so while one would prefer that their children become BIGLAW, becoming a porn star isn't exactly the end of the world, especially if they manage their money well.

Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, and Switzerland. As long as the process is regulated, and authorities can inspect to ensure that brothel owners are following the law, then much of the harm can be minimized along with the ability to use women who are forced into prostitution by criminals.

Yes, but there's nothing wrong with porn usage, and I'd argue that we shouldn't shame the men who opt to use porn or prostitutes in lieu of "conventional" relationships. It's a perfectly rational decision to use alternative means of sexual release, and it's arguably far more sensible than dealing with most women.

Other than those who work in "the industry", nobody will say that they are "for" pornography. However, I personally believe that it is a necessary evil and perhaps even beneficial in certain cases if taken in small doses.

As for the argument that pornography exploits women and reduces them to sex objects, that may be true. But nobody is forcing you to watch it and nobody is forcing any women to be in the industry.

PS. Having lived 3 doors down from a methadone clinic for 15 years, I'm not claiming it's a major issue. And beides, my block is entirely zoned residential, so no business can move in next door, so the entire question is purely hypothetical anyway.
