a trip to the doctor over a common cold to get some nighttime medicine.

Must be more of that gov't compassion.
And if it's a failure, think it'll be repealed? ha!

I take a moderate amount of Sudafed and the NY rules are tolerable. But I must admit I would be really pissed if I had to see a doctor to get a prescription. Nowadays no doctor ever prescribes for more than a year, and you can't just say to one doctor you need a prescription for something that the doctor isn't treating. So I'd have to see an ear nose throat specialist every year for a moderate allergy condition that's chronic and not changing.
