And I have not even said anything inflammatory. Voting blocs go back to before we were born. Just like it would have been accurate to say "JFK will win because all the Catholics, especially Irish, will be out in full force", it's accurate to say that Obama, 50 years later, has his blocs too. |

You know, whether or not he said black people, the message is still important...we need to get people back on track on earning their money instead of relying on the gov't to provide for them, and one of the best ways to do so is to bring back manufacturing to this country and making sure that Americans are employed by such companies. It's a shame this message was lost... |

I think it's horrible that in black communities, most of the food businesses are owned by foreigners who provide blacks with the worst food imaginable. But what is the answer? If you follow Bev Smith, a black female activist, basically a female Al Sharpton, she points out that in her neighborhood, a black family opened a supermarket and they had to hire a full-time armed guard because of all the problems black kids caused the owner. The owner complains about it all the time to her. Bev had to agree that it's hard to get business to open around black people. I wish Bev was still on the radio. THIW. |

That's interesting, but it's not the case in my section of Queens. Here there are quite a few businesses owned by local black and Latino people, including a seafood kitchen that recently opened up on Linden Blvd., the dry cleaners, the funeral home, the West Indian restaurant, several accountants and lawyers, and, of course, the local PathMark, where one of the owners is black. None of these establishments have problems with their customers of any age, because everybody understands their stake in helping these businesses stay open. THIW. |

It has to be a sizable majority that tips the scales towards a certain candidate. Some might even say that JFK won due to wearing makeup on the televised debates (the radio listeners judged that Nixon won). |

He wrong about that on so many levels..it happens when you don't broaden your horizons.I myself, have MORE than "listened" to what Republican candidates have to say...likewise with the DEMOCRATS.. See..what he doesnt get..is the Black voter is more shrewd than they are given credit for.. We vote ON the ISSUES..not for PERSON or the PARTY. What he is NOT saying..is how republicans have NEVER taken black voters seriously enough in ANY CASE..regardless if "we listened or not",until recently..and History shows their contempt/reinforced stereotype FOR us. Do you honestly blame any person of color for firmly believing that the REPUBLICAN PARTY is the worst of two evils, when they have yet to do or say ANYTHING different over the years? Hell...do you read the twitter post on how they feel about the President, his wife..their CHILDREN? His antics here are only to show how desperate they have become..how much more disrespectful and INSULTING their tactics have become...by actually calling into question the intelligence BEHIND voting choices, but for life long card carrying Conservative/Republican party members..the SAME standards don't apply. You see whee I going with this. When it boils down to it..its pure bullshit, plain and simple.. |

He wasn't Romney, and he wasn't Gingrich. Folks were reminded of what Gingrich was like by a bombardment of very mean-spirited ads from Romney and they flipped off both of them. Since everyone else was nucking futz, the "unknown comedian" won. And for those who missed the news, Romney somehow got 20 of Santorum's votes and Santorum actually won. |
