I guess that's why McVomits does it around here ... I hate having to rot for a "grill order" to not have that on a burger along with the stupid pickle, but then again that's why I avoid those joints entirely. They put mustard on fast food burgers just about everywhere outside of the NYC metro area. They don't do it on Long Island, New York City and it's suburbs, but I have seen it just about everywhere else.Personally, even though I grew up in NYC, I do like the mustard on the burgers. Most people from NYC area that aren't used to it think it's gross (such as yourself). |

Actually, I like mustard better on them than ketchup sometimes.PErsonally, at home I usually put BBQ sauce on them instead of ketchup. As for the raw onions, we agree there, I like raw onions, onion straws, sauteed onions, any of them. One of my favorite Bar& Grills we go to sometimes has a burger with raw, sauteed, and straw onions..... Add some Cheddar and BBQ sauce, a raw ripe tomato and I am good to go. (And I'll take the pickle too, although, it's usually a spear on the side, which I eat before the burger, haha). |

I go crazy for rings ... especially if they're extra crunchy. And as for putting stuff on burgers, if they NEED lubrication, around here it's either A-1 or honey hickory. But usually I just let the onions provide the lube.Every now and then when I'm in the mood for ketchup on them, I go full California style and add lettuce and mayo on the bun ... but that's rare. |
