He almost needs either a big turnaround in the economy (which no one is predicting) or his opposition to run two candidates that split the vote. Even then he might still lose.What? I don't see it that way at all. I look at the electoral map and say, "Which states did Obama win in 2008 that he is likely to lose in 2012"? Ohio is one possibility. Florida, North Carolina and Virginia are called "swing states" or "purple" and we'll be told that they are "in play". I don't think that they will be which is why I don't see Obama losing. |

Why would he lose VA, FLA and NC? They will be close but no evidence he'd lose them.Look at how the GOP won FL in 2010. Look at Scott vs Sink. He barely won against a pathetic female candidate. And as I've told you all before, Marco Rubio won a 3-way which made it easier on him. Had he been in a one-on-one who knows how that would have worked out? NC is very liberal now. |
