WTC Tenth Anniversary Ceremonies

I paid my respects this morning at the WTC:

9/11/01 still seems like yesterday. I have never, ever, been as scared to death, before or since, as I was that horrible morning. To this day, I wonder how we all got through it. The passage of time doesn't take away the chills I still get whenever I go to the WTC area. Never forget.

I will NEVER get over this event for as long as I live ! I was in Brooklyn on 9/11/2001 and felt the grit coming down on me like sand. My pocket radio was broadcasting things that I could not believe !

I ran for my ever-loving life with thousands of others when WTC2 came down. I really thought I was finished right then and there...

BTW, the Truthers were, inevitably, out in force today. One of our group was about to get into a spirited argument with them (it wasn't me), but we kind of nudged him away, and cooler jeads prevailed...

I vigorously disagree with their ideas...VIGOROUSLY.

Yeah, a bunch of nuts, like there are always nuts. Even on a day like today they can't control their lunacy.

Yes, I was still working as an EMT on 9/11/01. Arrived at Vesey Street just before the second plane hit.

I like seeing that, only because it shows our freedom of speech didn't collapse with the buildings. Stick it, al-Qaeda.

Fred

Yes, thank goodness we have the right to make complete asses out of ourselves if we so chose. JayZee's photo the perfect example....and there are plenty of others, for all sorts of topics, as we all know...

Guess we won't hear your spin on whether Mamdani should attend the 25th anniversary ceremony.
