Well, in the case of the Catholic girls, there's no ban in the religion prohibiting drinking.There's a ban on eating meat on Friday. There's a ban on dressing immodestly. There's a ban on the use of contraceptives (which equates to murder). And as we all know, Catholic girls follow these bans to the letter. Go to some country that has only heard about Catholics from the "news". Watch their faces when they see you eat a cheeseburger on Fridays or buying condoms. They'll be like "but....but...they are not supposed to do that....we were lied to!!", while you laugh your ass off at their ignorance. That's all you need to know about Muslim girls in Bosnia, other parts of the Balkans, a good chunk of Turkey, the former Soviet Republics, Eastern Africa and Southeast Asia. That's probably 75% of world Muslims right there. I'm not even counting the ones in minority-Muslim Western countries like the UK, US, Canada, France, etc. There was nothing like seeing Bosnian chicks in miniskirts holding hands and making out with their boyfriends with a beer in their hand while the muezzin's call was blasting in the background. Your perception of Muslims has to do with ARABS, Pashtuns and Pakistanis, three culturally backwards peoples. There's a reason those men hate everything. Fun is prohibited in their cultures. Most of the rest of world Muslims are mostly like me and you are with Catholicism as "oh yeah, yeah, whatever" outside of important religious festivities. Why even go overseas? There are Muslim chicks all over the Astoria Pool in the summer. Your erroneous categorization of world Muslims would be like somebody saying that all Jews follow the practices in that picture of Jerusalem that was posted today. Only most Arabs, Pashtuns and Pakistanis follow archaic fundamentalist practices. The ones that do in other countries are laughed at by their fellow Muslims just like we laugh at weird Amish people or the "Jesus Camp" crowd. |

On 8/10/01, I never even gave Muslims a second thought any other way than other Christians or Jews. THEY messed up this country's perception. it's THEIR fault, not ours. |
