No, only the leftists like unfortunately our Democratic leaders in two branches of government think it was over, and decided to call the WAR we are still fighting a man made disaster. |

A) The idea of victory makes the leader uncomfortable. in his wordsB) we just had the deadliest month in 9 years since the war started under Obamba Bin Laden. what would there be to celebrate? C) It seems fakes. Like healthcare or nextyears budget where they just deemed it passed and not actually passing the bill. He deemed it over, yet we're still there. It's 1984, the war ends in 85 i guess |

As usual with Shrub, it was the stupid shit spewing from his mouth which got him in trouble. Statements like:Major combat operations in Iraq have ended. Were what gave people the idea the war was over. Yet somehow he managed to be off by only a few years and a few thousand dead soldiers. The best part was when the administration turned around and tried to blame their massive blunder on the servicemen and women on the Lincoln who put their lives on the line for his ill conceived and poorly executed war. We may not have fully extricated ourselves from all of our last president's failures, but at least it looks like we've finally got one step out the door. |

We didn't form our case for war on a 20 year old attempt at genocide, and even if we did then we'd presumably be drawn into every other instance of genocide around the country. Instead we invaded because of his supposed nuclear, chemical and biological weapons. But we've never even found evidence that they existed beyond Operation Desert Storm. So how exactly did Saddam Hussein precipitate Operation Iraqi Liberation when he neither had NBC weapons, nor had the means to produce them? |
