These Two Were Up To No Good |

Posted by JayZeeBMT on Mon Aug 30 21:45:43 2010 ...and the TSA missed all the things they routinely stop US for when boarding a plane. Two suspects were arrested today in Amstredam after flying there from Chicago. Accompanying alleged terrorists Ahmed Mohammed Nasser Al-Soofi and Hezam al-Mirisi were the following items:$7,000 in cash, not suspicious in and of itself, BUT... there were also three cell phones taped together, a cell phone taped to a Pepto-Bismol bottle, Three watches taped together, plus several boxcutters and large knives... ...all of which the TSA screeners either missed or permitted to be placed aboared the aircraft, a United flight originating in Chicago. I still don't believe all Muslims should be branded as terrorists, but these two were up to no good, IMHO. It's lucky for us they were caught. |

The TSA did catch them here and they investigated the items that were taped together and decided that they were not a risk. As a courtesy the US notified the Dutch who decided to do their own investigation.The TSA later stated that a large number of people do tape things together in their luggage as odd as that sounds. Actually it sounds like BS, but that's what they said. My take is that the lower level people let them go and that higher ups disagreed and notified the Dutch. |

My toothpaste was 90% empty but the tube said that it could hold over the limit and the TSA threw it away. Yet two men with multiple cell phones taped together - some of them to liquids - were allowed to board. What morons! |
