"I don't understand, what is wrong with the video. Where's the "hate" you speak of?"Hate...is in MOCKING....how do I and other need to spell it out to you! His mocking of the healthcare in India and poor sanitary conditions and then continues onward to mock the name of a river in India...just because he "think" it sounds funny like a name of some horrible disease. Mocking is just another FORM OF HATRED. |

He's not "mocking" the healthcare system in India, he is explaining why OUR system is MUCH better, and why it costs so much more, as obviously our doctors and health care professionals make MUCH more than they do. Why do you think we have so many Indian doctors here? Because they make a helluva lot more money here than they would in India. And YES, their health care system DOES have poor sanitary conditions. Contrary to what many liberals believe, it's "okay" to be proud you are living in THIS country and not some third world country. It's "okay" to say that our country is better. That's not Mocking, and it's certainly not hate. If it's so great in India, perhaps you should find a doctor there, or perhaps move there if you think his comments were unfounded. |

That's what he's doing. And anyone not seeing where the problem is in the way the man talks about India has some serious problems with their value system. I'm still utterly amazed that someone as emotionally unstable and unscrupulous as Beck is allowed to have a show on US television. The man has rage issues. |

We ARE superior to a third world country like India. That doesn't mean we are superior as human beings, but we most certainly are superior as a country. Not even a question, and there's nothing wrong with admitting that, or saying that. The United States IS superior to India. MOCKING India and ridiculing their health system and educational system and their sanitation Our health system IS superior to that of India's. There's a reason we have so many Indian doctors in OUR health care system, as they are much more well off than if they had stayed in India and practiced there. and goes ever further to mock the name of a river because it sounds like a disease as if to say the country is disease ridden LOL, get real. I think that "Massapequa, NY", "Ronkonkoma. NY", and "Passadumkeag, Maine", etc are ridiculous funny names that also sound like diseases, and not afraid to say it. as if to say the country is disease ridden. It's a FACT that India holds much to be desired in the way of sanitary conditions. and Ologia...you think he's a nice guy? A much nicer guy that your racist, self-loathing, malicious self. No wonder why you think Hilter was a "prince." FUCK YOU, you god damned son of a bitch. Our standard of living is very high compared to countries like India and everything tends to cost more."The same holds true for Europe, and yet, we manage to get better overall results in the healthcare department (higher life expectancy, lower infant mortality,...) in Europe, for a considerably lower cost than the US. So, while the higher cost and standard of living certainly factors in, it doesn't paint the whole picture. "but he was trying to be funny" No, he was trying to be demeaning. |

And in addition to living in poverty and third world conditions."What's even more sad is HOW IGNORANT YOU AND "DOCTOR" OLOG-HAI when it comes to knowledge of world economies. You make it sound as if India is in the shithole for good. From NYTIMES.COM: August 31, 2010 India’s Economy Accelerated in Quarter By VIKAS BAJAJ MUMBAI, India — In contrast to the slowing growth and continued high unemployment among many developed countries, India said Tuesday that its economy was accelerating. Sharp increases in manufacturing, mining and services helped India grow at a rate of 8.8 percent in the three months that ended in June, compared with the same period a year earlier. It was its fastest pace in more than two years. The economy grew at a rate of 8.6 percent in the quarter that ended in March. Economists said the new data reflected the strength of India’s recovery from the global financial crisis, but they added that the economy might not be able to keep up the pace in coming months. The growth rates of industrial production and exports, for instance, have begun to fall. India, along with China, is still considered a developing economy. Indian leaders have said they would like to push the economy’s growth rate up to 9 percent — a pace it achieved a couple of years ago — and eventually to 10 percent. India needs faster growth to alleviate poverty and increase job opportunities for a young population; about half the Indian people are 25 or younger. But economists say that those higher growth rates will be hard to achieve until India invests much more in its infrastructure and further loosens government control over the economy. Moreover, a slowdown in the rest of the world could hurt India’s growth by reducing the flow of foreign investment into the country and reducing demand for its exports. “This was the quarter in which you would have seen the fastest year-on-year number for this year,” said Tushar Poddar, an economist with Goldman Sachs in Mumbai who projected that India would grow at a rate of 8.2 percent during the 2010-11 fiscal year, which started in April. “I don’t think the 9 percent is coming anytime soon.” The Indian government estimates the economy could grow as much as 8.75 percent this year, and the International Monetary Fund says growth could hit 9.4 percent. Like China, India has rebounded relatively quickly from the global recession. But the two countries have done so differently. Domestic consumption, which is not as big a component of the Chinese economy, has been crucial in the revival of the Indian economy. Car sales in India, for instance, climbed 38 percent in July, and large carmakers like Ford, Nissan and Volkswagen are significantly expanding production capacity in the country. Other foreign companies are also looking to tap India as it spends more. Harley-Davidson, the motorcycle maker, and California Pizza Kitchen, the American restaurant chain, recently opened their first Indian outlets in Mumbai. This year, strong monsoon rains have helped bolster the Indian agricultural sector, which sustains more than half of its 1.2 billion people, though it makes up just 16 percent of the economy. Agriculture grew at a pace of 2.8 percent in the latest quarter, up from 1.9 percent a year earlier, when several parts of the country suffered a drought. Optimism about the economy and strong corporate profit growth have helped push the Indian stock market to its highest level in two years. On Tuesday, however, the country’s benchmark stock indexes were down modestly. But stronger growth has also helped stoke inflation, especially for food, energy and other essential items. Wholesale prices have been climbing at an annual rate of about 10 percent in recent months. The Reserve Bank of India has raised its benchmark interest rates three times so far this year in response to higher inflation, and officials have indicated that further increases might be needed. |

And as for our "life expectancy", that has more to do that our murder rate is 4 times higher than our Western European counterparts, than it has to do with our far superior health care system. |

He was being truthful. Our health care system is WAY better than theirs."No....he was mocking and being demeaning. Just like the same people that run into Mexico for cheap medical procedures and hospital stays because they know when it comes to pricing, America unfortunately tops the list on the expensive price tag. "As for their funny sounding river, we have plenty of funny sounding names to geographical icons too. It's okay to say that Speonk sounds more like some affliction rather than a place. " True...but Glen Beck didn't mention Speonk....and somehow he was trying to somehow equate the funny name of the river with the name of some disease as if to play on the fact of a country that may not have the same disease control as America. |

"What does that have to do with the fact that they are still a third world country with severe issues?"Go take an economics class and then get back to me...ok? until then....go rant somewhere else then....ok? |
