What they do is quote the Ugandan minister saying that Warren says one thing in Uganda and another in the US.If they are quoting the Ugandan PM as saying Warren said one thing in Uganda, and another in the US, how can I possibly have "made that up"? Warren wasthere, and his activities in Uganda are not what he, or you, assert them to be. Warren is very, very good at distancing himself even from his own words and acts. There IS a comprehensive report coming on Warren's support for, and involvement in, Uganda's KTG laws. As soon as I get it, you will see it here. |

The only bits and pieces which have come out were paraphrased in the NYDN at the same time the Chrisses were spinning conspiracy theories about his being a liberal operative. Certainly I'd be more willing to believe the NYDN's unnamed source than the conspiracy theories the usual suspects around here grabbed off their conservative blog du jour. To a certain extent it's simply Occam's Razor. Is it more likely that this gentleman set out to incite violence and in doing so risk life in prison? Or is he just another rich kid with a useless degree doing some volunteer work with an organization he likely does not agree with because the job market sucks and he hates every minute of it? A little bit of alcohol would likely act as a universal solvent for whatever bulwark he'd built up trying to get his career together. |

The attack was triggered because Lamb didn't think white people should listen to rap music. Now the local State Attorney's Office is deciding whether to charge Lamb with a hate crime. The incident began when David McKnight, a white man, was listening to Gucci Mane's hit "Wasted," which features Fort Myers rapper Plies. McKnight was blaring the song on his boombox while Lamb was walking down the sidewalk. "You shouldn't be listening to rap music because you're white," Lamb said, according to a police spokesperson. McKnight replied that he could listen to whatever music he wanted. The argument escalated to a fight. That's when Lamb punched McKnight. About seven other boys eventually joined the fight. "I couldn't get away fast enough, let's just put it that way. Then one of them spit on me, punched me, knocked me down, got a couple of kicks in from a couple of them," McKnight told WFTV news. He suffered a broken toe, a concussion, a swollen eye, and strangulation marks.
