I had even forgotten about it until you mentioned stabbings. Some guy was stabbed in the dive bar across from the Ronkonkoma train station about two weeks ago. Actually real bands used to play there. But that was before the mayhem caused by electrification came to full force there. Once the station mayhem began to take over the Ronkonkoma station area, and no longer able to park, etc, the bar slowly became a real dive, just as all the stores around the station deteriorated as people stopped patronizing them as people can't park there, and commuters come and go as fast as they can to get away from the mayhem of the station. |

I had a neighbor in Queens, who we called, "La mejor misteriosa"-"The mysterious woman". She was a smoking hot Latina in her 30's, who lived in a studio downstairs, didn't seem to work, went to the gym everyday, and that's about it. No one knew how she supported herself. She moved to Maspeth Queens last year. I saw her at Macy's in December, the day of the escalator fire. |
