Never met him, but I remember lots from here. His snow pics...his unique language and made up words....his intelligence...lots more. He was one of my favorite subchatters and a great asset to this forum and is missed. I can hardly believe that it's been 3 years.RIP |

He is one of my favorite subchatters. I met him for the first time on an Eastern Division tour that Peggy gave back in April of 2003. It was a fun day. I also met QTraindash (now R40 Slant on the B), David Greenberger, Brian, Wayne Slant R40, Subwayman, and a bunch of other subchatters on that trip. It was a fun day. |

I remember a lot of things:1. The Ultimate Ride and his cooler, of course. 2. The milk crate on a MOD trip. 3. His great pictures. 4. The Hawaiian Punch. 5. Bikeyorph 6. In the AIM chats, he would log onto multiple screen names (one at a time, usually with with a car number as his SCN) - - that was funny. 7. And when ythe flame wars erupt, he would constantly use profanity to the hilt - - funny. |

For what it's worth.Wayne/Mr Slant 40: back row, 6th from left, purple bag Peggy: behind Wayne Subwayman: 3rd from left, green shirt, dark blue pants NKD, aka at that time as Kool D: front row, second from left DJ Greenburg: hiding behind the camera; between Kool D and Nick; I'm guessing that TS took the picture, cause if David stopped too fast...oh, well, you can figure out the rest. GP38 Chris (not to be overlooked): far right, red shirt. Do you still cultivate a beard? I know you said recently that you changed your hair style since then. Now I sound like Luch. DTrain22/Dante: behind Chris; under the Metrocard sign Josh: first step, right hand side of stairs Nick: first row, Yankee cap, fleece around waist Victor M: top row, center, glasses; Wayne and Peggy to the right. Full disclosure: I was not there. These are people who chose to identify themselves based on the picture being posted, when we were all younger and more innocent (?; well definitely younger, sigh) |

It is a cancer which is generally not particularly malignant, although considering the fact that it affects endocrine organs(most notably the adrenal glands, its usual host organ) it can wreak havoc on the processes of the body resulting in uncontrolled blood pressure and other such things.Dante's was on the bladder. Unfortunately, while being operated on, his blood pressure substantially dropped and he died. |
