Hiram Monserrate, expelled from the Senate for his domestic-violence conviction, has resorted to blatant hatemongering in his campaign to return to the State Senate. The level of public homophobia being displayed in this flyer (below) is appalling and sickening: This is a stark reminder of the kind of hatemongering we in the LGBT community have to deal withy. Could you imagine a similar flyer excoriating a candidate's support for Blacks or Asians? (I'm not even going to name the SubChatter I think could have written this horrible flyer.) |
