I think that the difference is that Palin as a politician attracted all-white crowds, which incidentally referred to as "real Americans". That's noteworthy to me. When she was running with McCain she came to my town and the crowd appeared to be nearly 100% white, which is very unusual for where I live and for LA in general. |

I don't know that either of them are racist. Sharpton's "job" is to be an advocate for blacks.
