Something similar. Same job same company. Not different companies. Maybe dif but similar jobs, but no promotions. I'm adding a lot of qualifiers. But I cant' think of many people like these guys who spend 30-40 years in public office, but one type of public office. In florida we have term limits so a lot of guys move around, state house, state senate, cfo, governor, then they become us senator. They're career politicans, but at least they worked they're way through MANY jobs. Japanese people who stay at the same company but move up the ladder. Even cops retire at a pension much shorter than these guys. Get my drift? It's mind bottling everytime I hear about a US congressperson or Senator whose bee in POWER longer than any ceo, or union guy waiting on a pension! And then for what these ppl do and what their jobs are. There should be term limits. 25 years :) |
