I think it goes deeper than the SEIU:Feds raid NYC area papers in union corruption probe My grandfather worked for these companies back in the 50's and 60's and even then he talked about union/mob ties. |

I don't know what's in the contract between the city and the union but if it says only union members can do that work and then the city lays off workers then the union definitely has a case. |

Once they do Carolina, it gets easier to leave another smoking crater there and move along to Mexico or China. The south is getting a good taste of what the rustbelt got, and stuck with an even bigger bill for the privilege. |
