I dunno. Obviously he was a Muslim, but was that the CAUSE? We don't know yet. There seems to be mounting evidence that he was completely crackers, and had been for a long time. But even THAT isn't the answer yet until they figure it out, write up the report, and more importantly figure out how to not allow this to happen again. You seem to be pointing to him having co-conspirators who haven't been found yet. So clearly, the case isn't closed. |

No investigation is needed because it should be crystal clear where the failure occurred (in the Pentagon; the FBI did its part passing warnings to there, but officials there sat on the information) and how it can be remedied (pass it along to the officer/soldier/NCO's commanding officer so that action can be taken on it).In the past, I had believed General Cone had failed his soldiers at Fort Hood; it turns out he never got a chance to act because he never got the relevant information. Does Joe Lieberman really need an investigation to know what ought to be obvious? |
