Posted by FYBklyn1959 on Sun Jul 12 22:06:50 2009 BusChat pics  Amway Arena, home of the Orlando Magic.  I think this was on Robinson St, east of I-4.    Holiday Inn Main Gate East, where I stayed.   Couple of interesting rides in a flea market type deal down the street from the hotel.  Huge-ass Marriot, taken from my hotel room. I drove by it later, it is massive.  I have no idea what this is, any ideas? It is somewhat south and west of the Marriot above, it that helps.  They have these marker numbers at intervals (1 mile?) along US 192, I guess they correspond to locations of attractions ???  Nice colors on the street and traffic light poles along 192 :)  Seems that the street lights in Osceola county have this blue light that lights up when the traffic light is red. Guess there's no excuse for running a red light there!  I stayed across the street from this in October 1999 for the MBS show.  The Citrus Bowl, home of the bowl game of the same name (or whatever it's called these days). I think Univ. Central Florida may play its home games here. |
