Speaking of the Godfather II, how good was De Niro's Italian? I have the DVD and Coppola mentions that Bruno Kirby already spoke fluent Italian, but I don't recall anything about De Niro. |

More comedy and Italian stereotypes than substance.DeNiro is ok in mobster roles. Al Pacino is the best as Lefty Ruggiero in Donnie Brasco. I think Lefty's wife is still living in the Knickerbocker Housing Projects in Little Italy. |
