Because I didn't ride the IRT for a while I rode the B div and the R32's on the C and R42's on the J and L lines and brand new R143's made me forget about the redbirds for a while. When I started riding the A div again I had noticed that the lines had redbirds on them now had R142's. And redbird 4 trains were hard to find in gerenal, even in the 90's before the R142's came Most of the time I got an R62 set. |

I have operated forklifts a few times. We had to qualify one one where I worked, all of us I did, and I was a designer/draftsman. I lifted a loaded pallet from the floor and placed it safely on a high rack, it was a good thing to learn. They gave us a 3 year license, mine ran out. I never used one at WAL*MART,my last job. I never had to. |

Yes, went up there too, great view and the winds blowing from like every direction. It would've been insanity if the deck was near the edge of the building rather than like half way out from the center. |

(The East NY Savings Bank to be exact.) Go collect your winnings. When the Lottery started tickets were only sold in banks. This lasted for a few months or years, I can't remember. I also do not know the reason that banks didn't want to sell them anymore. The ticket looked just like a bank deposit slip. You handed in the top and kept the yellow receipt. There was a new winning number once a week. I don't remember if they had any minor prizes or just a single winner. The dailies came later, and then the scratch offs. |

Yes in the days when the lottery was more corrupt than it is now, If you can imagine that. You had to fill out a 2 piece carbon form to play, you would keep one copy as your receipt. Also, it was not called lotto it was called "Empire Stakes", IIRC. |

I felt that way until I was in my early 20's, and a bunch of us were at a Japanese Restaurant. We ordered saki (sp?) and that had a lot of it....I think that softened me up enough to try it, and wow, I couldn't believe I waited that long.
