Actually, the only reason he left ESPN is because the commute to Bristol from NYC was just too much (keep in mind that Olbermann is unable to drive owing to an accident in the subway system back in 1980---he got a settlement from the NYCTA over that.) |

I don't watch Hume much, but a year or so ago I was watching the news (not one of the comment shows) and something was on about one of the major Dems. I think that it was Harry Reid. They showed some clip of what that person said and Hume added a very brief editorial comment indicating that he didn't believe the person was speaking honestly. Some little flip statement. I apologize for not remembering the details, but I do remember the negative impression that I had. I've heard other FoxNews reporters (not the pundits) make similar comments during the news. None of that however, was even close to Matthews and Olbermann on MSNBC's convention coverage. |

When the conventions ran (yes, I *did* watch both) I went straight to C-SPAN because I knew there would be only the actuality itself and no talking necks.Now let's see if FOX or CNN does anything about *their* bigmouths. While I don't watch or listen to those particular guys, I have listened to some AM radio. I think it means something...when someone who used to support republicans debunks every phrase out of their mouths. No opinion required. It is kind of entertaining, however, when evangelists call, and start saying some weird stuff, and then some republicans calling in, saying "facts depend on your opinion."And then... "I pledge of allegiance to the flag, of Alaska." I guess if it was ok for the founding fathers, it is ok with Palin. I think it is a bad that this election is such a joke, really shows how manipulative our "leaders" are. And it is SCARY how people believe this BS. And we are supposedly making History. |

His bias jumps out at you from his ugly face and most of the time he bloviates hatred at conservatives and backs his arguments up with specious arguments that have already been mocked as ridiculous by other newscasters.Like Phil Donahue and that second rate actor before him, Oldie Olbie will one day find the locks changed on his MSNBC doors as his rating fall farther and farther behind those of Bill O'Reilly. |
