Even Bush never had it this bad.

From Rasmussen Report, via Drudge.

The percentage of voters who give Congress good or excellent ratings has fallen to single digits for the first time in Rasmussen Reports tracking history. This month, just 9% say Congress is doing a good or excellent job. Most voters (52%) say Congress is doing a poor job, which ties the record high in that dubious category.

Last month, 11% of voters gave the legislature good or excellent ratings. Congress has not received higher than a 15% approval rating since the beginning of 2008.

The percentage of Democrats who give Congress positive ratings fell from 17% last month to 13% this month. The number of Democrats who give Congress a poor rating remained unchanged. Among Republicans, 8% give Congress good or excellent ratings, up just a point from last month. Sixty-five percent (65%) of GOP voters say Congress is doing a poor job, down a single point from last month.

Voters not affiliated with either party are the most critical of Congressional performance. Just 3% of those voters give Congress positive ratings, down from 6% last month. Sixty-three percent (63%) believe Congress is doing a poor job, up from 57% last month.

Just 12% of voters think Congress has passed any legislation to improve life in this country over the past six months. That number has ranged from 11% to 13% throughout 2008. The majority of voters (62%) say Congress has not passed any legislation to improve life in America.

Voters hold little positive sentiment about the future. Just 41% find it at least somewhat likely that Congress will address important problems facing our nation in the near future, while 55% find this unlikely.

Despite these negative attitudes towards Congress, Democrats continue to enjoy a double digit lead on the Generic Congressional Ballot.

Most voters (72%) think most members of Congress are more interested in furthering their own political careers. Just 14% believe members are genuinely interested in helping people.

A separate Rasmussen survey found that half of all voters believe America’s best days are in the past. However, another survey found that 64% of voters also believe that the world would be a better place if more countries were similar to the United States.

Via Drudge ... Oh PULEEZE. Bush isn't being RATED anymore, it's an act of TREASON against the Riechsfuhrer. Lemme put it this way ... assume the position, here comes your daddy ... Obama HUSSEIN! Now give me twenty. :)

Bush isn't being rated anymore because Bush is a lame duck who will be out of power in six months. For better or worse, his run is done, over. The Democratic Congress, however, will be around until 2010, so tracking them is important. And so far, they've done zip.

Sorry ... we KEEP hearing about Clinton, Ted Kennedy, Jimmy Carter and all ... TRUST me ... the boogeyman of DUBYA (at least until that evil (W) train is killed) will live on in infamy! Oh no ... NEVER have so many Americans (AND Israel) been fucked so much ... nope ... like Carter and Bubba and "Chappaquidik" this boat will be departing REGULARLY on round trips until y'all been buried ... and for a few years MORE! We got us HOOVER II now. :(

Let's see what Pelosi and Reid do with one of their own, like our "gift"
over more than a decade which got us where we are now. Nope ... if they can't make a measurable improvement in four years (wasn't it y'all that set that benchmark of "don't mean chit if they ain't been in for five years first?) no PERSONAL offense intended, but republicans NEED to spend some quality concentration camp time for all they've done *TO* America ... period. And yeah, most of the nation now WANTS to string your asses up. I wouldn't ADMIT to favoring republicans right now if I wasn't inside a police-protected zone. :(

This is irrelevant...and this is why:

Congressional members are responsible to their constituents FIRST. That means Nancy Pelosi answers the wishes of her ultra-liberal constituents FIRST, with the nation coming second...whether you like it or not.

Once upon a time, MEMBERS (mark that word) of Congress ROSE to the more important issues BEYOND their district once anointed to "honor." Hell, EVEN HASTERT, a CROOK from CHICAGO'S suburbs actually did that! :(

PHUCK Pelosi ... Obama's gotten DAMN good at throwing women under buses, SHE should be the first wheel chock! :(

Yep ... but any party *can* depose a "majority leader" simply on the basis of "you embarass us." Pelosi is bad, Reid is even worse! BOTH of them need to kiss rubber tires as far as I'm concerned. Chicago won this election with Obama ... I'd like to see SCHUMER and perhaps Clyburn. Anyone but THESE two Sackocraps. :(

But yeah, "leadership" is lacking, despite Reid's ability to do what Obama talks about ... time to cut their BALLS off on the "other side" just like they've done since Newtie and prior to the voters saying NAY. :(

"Oh no ... NEVER have so many Americans (AND Israel) been fucked so much."

America and Israel were both worse off when Carter was president. Carter was the worst president of the 20th century, perhaps of all time.

AH-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAH

Gee, I wonder why. could it be because as a ruling party, they keep claiming they don't rule anything?
Or is it this weeks revelations that the Leadership partnered up with Hugo's FARC, which is tied to Hezzy.
Panderer-in-chief not excluded.

One would wonder if this effects a presidential race.
Too bad I don't think there's any I can vote out of office this go around.

True, but the point of this thread is that they're not the majority party right now.
