The liberals have played the race card for years. Didn't Rev Wright say something like, "The only blacks you see at a Republican convention are the ones on the wait staff"? And the garbage Michael Moore is putting out there will only infuriate people even more. There's a reason why blacks vote democratic 85%, mainly because the liberals have played the race card to paint a negative image of the Republicans.I know a lot of black people, and they're more conservative than many whites I know. They believe in God, value family time, "buy American", and tend not to be pro-life. Why blacks vote democratic, I'll never know. Perhaps it's been said so many times that Dems are the party for blacks, people just believe it. |

I think all people are, or should be for family time, but by the looks of it, the black community has little family time in the cities. My teacher told me blacks USED to be tightly knit, and had dinner together, but today is a different story, with gangs, and people going to mcdonalds for food and all. Buy american is good for the country, and pro choice is good too. God should not mingle with politics. |

I think that was blown up to show how illegal immigrants can be really bad too. If i recall, it hapenned around the time when legalization of immigrants was on the table, which is why the media whore gave that story so much coverage. That story definately made some people against letting illegals into this country.I am against the illegal immigrant influx from mexico for the simple reason that it isn't fair for those that do it legally, there is a process, you can get citizenship without jumping borders, don't be so lazy. Shame on those pregant mothers who jump the border to legalize their children. The answer to the problem is simple, quit giving billions in aid to iraq, and give aid to mexico, which has many problems with drugs....OH, wait companies make profits off of the guns sold to those drug cartels, and the drugs too. |

I know I'd be hypocritical if I blasted Obama bin laden's "church" because it's "unabashedly black" and yada yada.the point is, 20 years with most weeks being anti-american, sermons or in print, visiting Libya, reprinting the Hamas manifesto, etc etc, isn't the same. And my question is, in the pattern of his everyweek finding every excuse to hate, what makes an 1850's address relevant. What's he doing to free his continent? Nigeria doesn't sound to be doing good on the free front after sharia got enforced. There's so much more than Wright, how'd I pick this one. |

No, Barr is a walking life support system for a sphincter. He's precisely what the Libertarian party needs. :)And as to them zany republicans, they make chit up. Prior to Clinton's efforts in 1996 to make China ACCEPT international rules on patents, they were under no obligation whatsoever and were stealing and exploiting everything with impunity. It was Clinton that got them to finally sign (took four years) WIPO. A summary can be found here: books.google.com But ever since Nixon, China was allowed to violate all patent laws. Curiously, once Bush came in, once again it was NOT enforced which is why Canal Street is still overloaded with all those counterfeits. :( |
