Westchester County is cheating already

Midterm Election Day 2026 live updates: Voters suspicious of ballot machine breakdown in crucial Westchester County

Decision day is here.

Americans are taking to the polls Tuesday to cast their ballots in the high-stakes midterm elections that will determine whether Republicans retain control of both houses of Congress — or lose the majority to Democrats, as the left grows ever more socialist by the day.

The Post is on the ground in New York — where control of Congress hinges on four key, high-profile battleground seats in the few remaining swing districts — and Michigan, where Dem infighting boiled over in the days before the election as Israel-hating Senate hopeful Abdul El-Sayed aims to win the left’s only vulnerable Senate seat in the midterm, making it critical for the party’s plans to flip the upper chamber.

Meanwhile, in Westchester County, many ballot machines are reporting issues. Rep. Mike Lawler, who is running for reelection in the area, urged voters to stay on line as the issues were resolved.

Watch this space throughout Election Day and Night, as we bring you the latest news and results from key Senate, House and governor races across the US to determine whether Republicans will maintain control of Congress. …

LOL. Westchester leans strongly Democratic, and this breakdown puts more Democratic votes than Republican at risk of not being counted. You sure you want to call this cheating?

"as Israel-hating Senate hopeful Abdul El-Sayed"

Out of all of the things he hates, and all of the things he says, and his obvious deformities, this is what they focus on?

Theres no excuse for this. All those machines should have been checked out and certified the night before. A complete investigation and accountability should be the next order of business. Expect challenges and demanded recounts from all the losers.

There’s no excuse for this

That is the bottom line.

I wonder what happened that this wasn’t a problem for early voting?

One batch of paper was used for early voting, a different, heavier paper order for the general. My boss lives in Westchester and voted early with no problem.

Theres no excuse for this.

Agreed. But it's incompetence, not cheating (Democrats are disadvantaged by this failure).

We encountered some very minor problems with the ballots yesterday, none of them impactful in any way. Appears there were some bad batches of ballots, I have faith this will be investigated and not happen again.

How, exactl? Once scanned by the voter themselves and counted, nobody can access them.

Rough copy and paste from Google AI mode:

The widespread voting machine malfunctions across Westchester County on Election Day (November 3, 2026) were ultimately caused by human error involving a coding and programming mismatch between the printed ballots and the scanners.
While local election officials initially blamed the physical thickness of the pre-printed paper, that theory was quickly debunked.
The state and county boards of elections outlined the specific reasons for the breakdown:

1. Late Ballot Changes and Programming Mismatch

According to the New York State Board of Elections, a last-minute change was made to a specific local contest in just one Westchester municipality. This forced an emergency update to the county’s election programming software.
• The Core Breakdown: The newly updated programming file was successfully loaded onto early voting equipment and the Election Day scanners within that single municipality. However, scanners throughout the rest of the county were left running the original, un-updated programming.
• The Result: When Election Day ballots—which were pre-printed countywide with the newly updated race information—were inserted into the un-updated scanners, the barcodes and coding data did not match. The scanners properly recognized the data discrepancy and rejected the ballots.

2. Why Early Voting Wasn't Affected

Many voters wondered why the problem didn't surface prior to Election Day. County officials explained that early voting centers utilize "on-demand" printing, which automatically formats and prints individual ballots using the active, live system profile.

That reasoning has since been debunked, according to some reports.

Hardly. Someone needs to join the teams that enable voters to fill out and complete their votes. I’m part of the team for one particular district.

Apparently you’ve never functioned within a team, or this would be understood.

Its all moot now. All those paper ballots would not have any effect on any outcome.

Apparently you know nothing about my function in my previous career but I might know a bit about yours. You're one of those frumpy old women who sit at the table and look up the voters and try to confirm their identity. you get your $17/hr and feel superior to those you pass nudgement on.

LOL.

Who exposed the Democrats' shady tactics in AK?

And how much vote rigging is there actually? Almost none, neither by Republicans nor Democrats, because if there were a lot of it some of it would get caught.

I know plenty about your prior career, the whole story…

There’s nothing wrong with what I’m doing twice a year. Without people like me there, we've have chaos. It's a public service first and foremost. And if that makes me "better" than others, so be it. (Personally, I think I’m crazy to do the 16 hour day it involves) And it pays (an aggregate) better than $17/hr, although it doesn’t pay by the hour.
