Hello political handles. How are you all doing today?

I think Hochul will win the debate. Irish-Catholic women are almost impossible to beat.

New York has a huge Irish-Catholic population. Hochul will get the Irish-Catholic vote because she is Irish-Catholic.

The debate is on NY1. That makes it almost impossible to watch. Local CBS, NBC & ABC outlets volunteered to air the debate, which makes the debate much more available to be seen. She refused. I wonder what she's afraid of??

On the other hand, it will be on YouTube so the debat will be more accessible than if it were on regular TV.

Maybe it has something to do with tying your campaign to someone who isn’t popular in New York (Trump) and he has no accomplishments whatsoever in Nassau County despite having a Republican legislature who would do whatever he wanted.

True. But that doesn't explain why she refused to be on one of the big three. Blakeman had no issue with being on one of the more widely available outlets.

It's a statewide debate. Obviously she's not going to be on a national network so it would have to be a piecemeal booking with local stations in every market in the state.

My post wasnt clear. What I meant was that local affiliates of the big three networks (not to be televised nationwide) offered to carry the debate and Hochul refused.

Most Gen X and Generation Jones Irish chicks who grew up in "the Boroughs" are politically conservative. They were raised by old school classic Democrat blue collar and middle class parents, who nowadays would be considered the "far right".

I'm not political expert. I know little about poltics.

But, if Obama can win. If Biden can win (honestly I don't know how he won during Covid, but he did). If Hillary can be competitive with Trump, I think any female candidate will have a chance, just being a female.

The only problem is Millennials. They won't like a name like Kathy.
