Yankees eliminated by fan interference

Hello sports fans. How are you all doing tonight?

I was watching the the Rays vs. Yankees game.

Volpe seemed to hit a 2-run homer until it was ruled that due to fan interference, it wasn't a home run.

I predict that fan reaching over, will be doxxed.

In my opinion, that ball was going over the outfield wall anyway.

Typical Yankees drama.

Ok. Watching in slow motion, the ball probably was going to hit the top of the wall. Experts with computer generated trajectory will show where that ball was going.

When will the Yankees put up netting or something to prevent this? It has happened before.

I saw the play tou refer to. I would not like to be the gentkeman in question right about now. That said, the one play did not cause the yankees to be eliminated. Inept hitting clumsy fielding, and poor managing made the elimination inevitable. Wait till next year.

I wonder if that gentleman was escorted out since the ruling was "spectator interference"? Otherwise, I agree. One play does not determine a victory or loss.

If that ball was going over the fence then the fan cost the Yankees a two-run homer. That would have at least tied the game.

I laugh at Stanton and Judge. Yankees got to the post season without them but they were anxious to play. Stanton batted twice and did nothing. Just leave him out of the lineup until next season.

If there is a "next season" that is. The owners want a salary cap and the players say I don t think so. If there's no resolution, there will be a players strike. They always seem to try to find a way to kill the golden goose.
