I love Rosa's.I guess you mean their "upside down" or "Sicilian". Dave Portnoy didn't give them a good score. Screw him. If you get a chance, try Mano's on Forest Ave across the street from PS 71. Their regular pies are worth the trip. Here is Portnoy thrashing Rosa's. I don't think Rosa's is or was "mobbed up". |

I am reserving the right to declare designate nominate call it what you will a couple places despite the fact you asked for a favorite, meaning one. If you have a problem with that, so what and oh well. I hope you and the rest of the handles have a good October but as for November, I will reserve judgement in case you or the other handles attack me for no apparent reason between now and then, a likely scenario. Anyway, in no particular order: 1. Corleone's Pizzeria in Hasbrouck Heights near KTEB 2. Pizza Town USA in Elmwood Park near bucolic East Paterson on 46 West at the merge with the Garden State Parkway. I sometimes stop there for a slice on the way to work for a last meal in case I get whacked going through Newark especially on hot summer evenings, a likely scenario. |

I visited Krispy in Bensonhurst (they also have several locations in NJ) a couple of months ago late on a Saturday afternoon because I was in the general area. I did not see any employees there from videos which I noticed the store itself in the background.I had a couple of slices which didn't blow me away, while Rosa's is much better tasting. However, I'll eventually give it another chance in the future to try to impress me. |

His main gig is online sports betting. But his pizza reviews on youtube get millions of views. Wherever he goes people recognize him, including pizzeria owners, as soon as he walks in. Some pizza owners say that sales go up when they get a good review. |

It was named Krispy because he there were no "K" words in Italian or Sicilian at the time, so it was a gimmick. Now. I've eaten there several times throughout the years, since the 90s. It's good. Not bad, not rhe best, but good and reliable. I like Luigi's,DA Vinci bette, but that's only my opinion. |

This guy, Dave Portnoy, has millions and millions of views on youtube for his reviews. And some owners anxiously await nearby while he rates their pizza. CERES is an example of a pizzeria that got a big boost from Dave Portnoy's reviews. L'industrie is another pizzeria that got a big boost from these internet reviews. |

Although not rising no pun intended to the level of Corleone's or Pizza Town USA, Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana in KHVN is really good and anyone who disagrees is an ignoramus. I went there once before a Yale lacrosse game and then again as I was passing through on my way to KBDL. I think there used to be one in Yonkers. Anyway, there is no shame in being the first loser behind Corleone's and Pizza Town USA, none whatsoever. |
