Fare checkers. List of the best handles for the job.

Posted by LuchAAA on Sat Oct 3 15:18:12 2026

For those unaware, I started a mainboard thread about NYCT hiring Fare Checkers F/C's to check OMNY cards on buses and subway platforms.

Here's a List of handles who would make great F/C's.

Zman179 (obvious reasons)

cortelyounext (he's great at dealing with the public. He's woke. He's 5'11, 188 lbs. Not too big. Not too small. He's fashionable.)

Osmosis Jones (read his posts)

Railman718 (at 6'4 1/2, 305 lbs, mostly muscle, no one will fuck with Railman. His presence is a form of enforcement).

Zac (if someone runs. He'll chase them on his bike)

Other handles that would be great at roaming the subways and buses checking OMNY fares.....

clearaspect
easy (he does 4x4 Tabata training)
dand124
bingbong
RandyO
elkeeper
TSS lurker
FBklyn
Jackson Park B train
Spider-Pig
Bill from Maspeth
Jtrainloco

I gotta ask, why not? I wanna see if I agree with you. I don't think I would tolerate that job either, but the irony is I actually stopped and made people pay their fares a long time ago.

The term is an "ejection". You wete.allowed to use the necessary amount of force in order to do it. Memobook.entries and an aided (TP 1?)

You need to comment on my thread about using the surveillance state to combat fare evasion.
