NBC 4 Los Angeles helicopter crash |

Posted by Spider-Pig on Wed Sep 16 17:01:14 2026 A news copter serving channel 4 in Los Angeles crashed.This isn't the first time a helicopter serving channel 4 in LA crashed. You too might remember the other time. |

The helicopter was covering a bus crash where an SUV went through the side of the bus killing two people on the bus. Then the helicopter crashed and killed both people inside plus a person on the ground that had a helicopter land on their head. It was crazy!I don't remember another crash. Do you mean the one in 1977? I saw that Francis Gary Powers was killed then. |

She was a traffic reporter for WNBC radio. She and her pilot crashed their helicopter into the Hudson River during a live broadcast report on the Joey Reynolds show. She was killed but IIRC the pilot survived. An actual aircheck of them going down is out there somewhere, possibly youtube. |
