That is not the only Catholic Church that's had its' statues desecrated either. But this is the first one that's had 4 that I've known of.The Tablet (the newspaper of the Diocese of Brooklyn & Queens) obviously reports on this situation. |

Bearded man filmed vaulting into NYC Catholic Church yard to smash statue of Virgin Mary to smithereens with hammerA bearded and masked man was seen vaulting the fence of the Saint Rita Roman Catholic Church in Long Island City just before 2am on Saturday. |
