BILLBKLYN went to Pennsylvania with sandwiches.

He went to a park. I bet there were more people in that park than people outdoors in the entire state of Florida that day.

I thought lots of people go to the beach in FL. Also Disney World, even in the summer. Understood there aren't many people strolling down the streets of Orlando.

I thought lots of people go to the beach in FL.

Maybe in April and May when the Snowbirds are in Florida.

From June through October, I'd say there are more people at Coney Island beach or Brighton Beach than Miami Beach or Daytona Beach or Sarasota.

Well, this past weekend there is not doubt that statewide in Pennsylvania there were way more people outdoors doing things than the entire state of Florida.

Yes, Disney would be the outlier but even there, a lot of space is sheltered with ceiling fans.

I was in Miami Beach on November 26, 2023 and it seemed fairly busy. Between 3:52 PM and 4:47 PM, the temperature averaged 80 degrees and the humidity was 77%.

I was also there on December 14, 2025 between 2:31 PM and 5:19 PM. I don't have a record of the weather then, but it was also fairly crowded.

If it was crowded, I'll bet a lot of it was tourists.

Real Floridians spend most time indoors.

They spend little time at the beach or parks.

Someone who lives in NY or PA will spend more time outdoors in parks or beaches than most Floridians.

I find it interesting that you know the minutes you spent at the beack.

Did you swim?

I wasn't at the actual beach in either case, but next to it. Did not swim.

I know the minutes because I looked up my Apple Watch health/fitness data.
