You seem to believe that a small faction of the democrats has moved left but in fact, it's the party that's moved hard to the left and old time pussies like schumer are so afraid of being primaried out that they are also paddling to the left. Shumer said that he still supports platner, antisemitism, misogyny and all.

The Far Left has co-opted the Democratic Party. The "Establishment Democrats" and others who lean nore Centrist have been put on notice! The Left wants Anachro-Communism, open or NO borders, no police, no prisons, no laws, no Supreme Court, no free speech, no 2A, but most of all, rape and fleece the taxpayers to take their money in order to five it to their constituents as "free" stuff!!

The "party" is an organization and it's run by people like Schumer.

They are pandering to the left because primaries—especially closed primaries—are low turnout affairs and loud minorities can win those.

The NYTimes has a great article today. It's about if the Democrats value diversity more than numbers. Do they redistrict to increase the # of seats, or keep the gerrymandering for special racial seats.
