Posted by Fisk Ave Jim on Thu May 14 15:39:31 2026 Passes away at 90 from complications of prostate cancer.Blind since birth, he made a string of hits in the 60s & 70s. His biggest hit was "Patches" which he won a Grammy for best R & B song the year, 1970. But my favorite Clarence Carter song was his warm and touching Christmas tune "Back Door Santa" May he rest in peace. |
