NPR Concerts

Posted by cortelyounext on Wed May 13 09:30:36 2026

So like I mean The Foo Fighters just performed in the Tiny Desk Concert series at the NPR studios for what exactly? Don't get me wrong - I like some of their work projects music and like Grohl, at least his musicianship, from his time with Nirvana until now. But come on, said concerts are nothing more than a thing where almost every one has an "Explicit Language" warning and the so-called studio is indeed tiny with a background of cluttered shelves and a foreground of radical leftist Progressive Democrat employees swaying to the sounds. It is a thing that will hopefully disappear from the airwaves and memory. That is non-negotiable and of that there can be no debate. Please already, just stop.

I remember when Smells Like Teen Spirit was played only on college radio stations.

I remember when the people who liked Nirvana when Nirvana was still a band didn't need to wear Nirvana t-shirts. And now I see every ethnic yout who has never heard of the band wearing their t-shirts.
I'm wondering who gets the $$$
