People with missing arms |
Posted by Peter Rosa on Thu Mar 26 13:21:21 2026 You just don’t see many these days, either with empty sleeves or hooks for hands. I attribute this to a few reasons:- There aren’t many veterans who lost arms in combat still around. Almost all of the WWII veterans and most of the Korean War veterans are gone, as are a not-insignificant percentage of Vietnam veterans. - Today’s industrial and farm machines have better safeguards to prevent injuries, not to mention that fewer people do that type of work any longer. - This is more speculative, but modern medicine may be better at reattaching severed limbs. |

You should watch the summer Paralympics. The amount of young men, likely war criminals, who have obvious war-time or terror related injuries from arab countries who compete is really interesting. There was a wrestler who I watched last year, he was sanctioned by the paralympic committee for taking a banned terror flag out of his backpack and waving it to the crowd when he won. Not something, CNN/BBC/Al Jeezeria tripartate focuses on. |
