The name refers to aviation so it must be investigated.

Apparently it was coined in England c. 1991. A watering hole serving restaurant quality food. Above the typical bar fare I suppose.
Sounds nasty to me.

The video of the shooters would indicate gang activity. The suspects are African-American.

Honestly, if you look at the alcohol consuming communities of Irish-Catholicism and Germans, there is very little gun violence.

For example, the German bars of Ridgewood and Glendale had occasion fights but no shootings or stabbings.

The Irish-Catholics are St. Patrick's Day parade, or the many Irish-Catholic bars never have shootings or stabbings.

I'm going to say the victims and shooters in this incident in Kew Gardens had no more than 3 drinks or less. It's not alcohol related.
