Solider goes on shooting spree at Virginia university

Obama would call this a workplace incident because of the surprising twist of who did the crime. Amd during Ramadan too!

A National Guardsman turned ISIS terrorist was named as the gunman killed after opening fire at Old Dominion University.

Mohamed Bailor Jalloh, 36, opened fire inside the Norfolk, Virginia, school on Thursday morning, sources confirmed to several news outlets.

Jalloh, a former National Guard soldier, stormed into a classroom and asked if it was an Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) class, The New York Post reported.

After a person in the room confirmed that it was, he opened fire on the professor, sources told outlet. A student then stabbed Jalloh to death.

Jalloh, a U.S. citizen originally from Sierra Leone, was released from prison in 2024 after being caught attempting to hand information to ISIS and ISIL in 2015.

Yeah, and in this particular case, I am glad the student had both the courage and the knife:

Jalloh, at his sentencing, claimed he deeply regretted his actions and was disgusted by ISIS.

“First of all, I want to say I've made a lot of mistakes in my life, but this mistake of giving any support to the violent and extreme organization ISIS has been the most devastating one I have ever decided to make in my life,” he told the judge, according to a transcript reviewed by CBS News.

THey should've led the story with that.

Next time I'll check CNN where I'm sure he was the target of his own shooting spree.
