Rob Reiner is dead. Sad but the left sees this tragedy as an opportunity for exploitation. Social mrdia is swirling wiyh comparisons between the death of Rob Reiner and that of Charlie Kirk.

THERE IS NO EQUIVALENCY HERE!

Rob Reiner was one if the hollywood elitists who had extreme left wing beliefs and attitudes.
Charlie Kirk was a well spoken advocate of Conservative and Christian values.
Charlie Kirk was murdered for his political beliefs.
Rob Reiner was killed because of a domestic dispute.
Charlie Kirk was murdered by a domestic terrorist, a political assassin.
Rob Reiner was killed by his own evil spawn, a mondter cerated by privilege and poor parenting.
Charlie Kirk's death has provided an opportunity for discussion about politically motivated violence.
Rob Reiner's death has provided an opportunity for the left to attack president Trump for his expression of rebuke for the dead actor.

Once again, leftists swing and miss.

I agreed with very little of Rob Reiner's political views. But I enjoyed and always will his role in All In The Family. He was also a talented movie director, and screenwriter and I enjoyed many of his movies/ He was also a family man. What Trump said about him was beyond more than uncalled for. It was disgusting. I have just lost a great deal of respect for him. Trump is no better than the ones who were happy that Charlie Kirk was mudered, or dissapointed that Trump wasn't.

Nobody is drawing an equivalence. The only people who exploited the Kirk assassination were random malcontents and not important people like the President.

And for your first two sentences, you obviously are politically-biased such that you call Kirk’s beliefs (I agree he was well-spoken) using positive words, but you call Reiner an ideologue. They were both ideologues.

...and thats his problem. He has no filter. He could have said something simple like even though we disagreed sometimes vehemently, its truly horrific that you and your wife met such a violent death. My condolences to the Reiner family. This type of violence, domestic or otherwise, has no place in American society. Simple, to the point and basically "taking the high road".

We all subscribe to our own idiologies. He certainly was a hollywood elitist who, on camera, would wring his wrists for the middle class and the poor but only paid lip service to their plight. Rob Reiner was a phoney like the rest of the hollywood elite, who was soft on crime while living behind iron gates and paying for private security. He never saw the crime he was soft on. He never was affected by the illegals that he whined about and in many ways, created the monster that took his life.

That monster that took his life was a sick addict. Mr. & Mrs. Reiner's demise would have happened regardless of what his political, socio economic views on life or Trump was. A crime of passion, not for any political or financial gain. He created that monster at conception, nothing else.
So the kid lawyered up big time, Alan Jackson who charges major $$$ for his services. I wonder who is picking up the tab?
Strictly speculation here, I think the kid will be deemed unfit for trial due to "mental defect" and stashed in an insane asylum for the rest of his life, thus avoiding the chair, needle or Gas or whatever California uses these days for executions
