More bad aviation news for New York |

Posted by Peter Rosa on Thu Dec 18 12:48:42 2025 In a way it’s even more shocking than Delta’s cancellation of its service from JFK to Brussels after 35 years. Jet Blue is kiboshing its JFK-Amsterdam flights and moving them to Boston. While to be sure the JFK service was seasonal - note that Boston will be year-round - the fact that Jet Blue is “supposedly” a New York airline makes the move to Boston really heartbreaking. |

And their Airtrain to NJT connection is faster, funny enough, plus has the Airtrain/NJT/PATH option.JMHO, but the EWR Airtrain should have been built as PATH, including the airport circulator. But the Port Authority would not do such a thing, oh no. Funny enough, since the JFK Airtrain was built with 4' 8½" railroad tracks and accommodates 10'-wide cars, the subway could possibly take it over if the politicians ever felt like it, lol. |
